Jaguar F1 roars back to the TABAC Classic GP
The beautiful Jaguar F1 car of Klaas Zwart is making a return to familiar territory. The Jaguar R5, the final F1 car produced by Jaguar Racing before its transformation into Red Bull Racing, will hit the track once again at the TABAC Classic GP Assen.
The R5 powered by a V10 Cosworth engine, originally campaigned in the 2004 Formula One season with drivers Mark Webber and Christian Klien, is remembered for its distinctive British Racing Green livery and its role in Jaguar's final chapter in the sport. The car earned Jaguar a respectable seventh place in the Constructors' Championship that year, highlighted by consistent performances and four points finishes by Webber.
